Three top lobbying firms demanded cash upfront in order to get the Executive Order signed. Paterson and Guilliani drafted a sponsorship agreement pro bono which was very helpful however Guillani' s office said he was too busy with the election to help practically. Two refused to do anything without $500,000 cash upfront. My orphans live on less than $1 a day and so the burden has been on my team to daily fund raise for 7 years to pay the expenses of this Campaign that has lasted 5 times longer than the Presidential election.

The reason that the poor are constantly pushed to the bottom of the list or off it all together is that they lack the knowledge, capital and credit to follow the processes through and overcome the countless obstacles thrown at them.

I joke that "God made me curvy so every time they knock me down, I bounce back up". Whoever said
" it's not how many times you fall it's how many times you get back up" is absolutely right..... I'm sure that 14 rounds with Mohamed Ali would have been easier:)

My faith is a critical ingredient in leading this work. All funding documents and copies of the Executive Order have been blessed at Washington National Cathedral or in Senator Lugar's office by the Senate Chaplain.

Paterson and Guiliani were only lobbying firm who drafted a sponsorship agreement Pro bono.
The poor are pushed to the bottom or off the list as they can not complete with the oil, alcohol and tobacco companies who can put $500,000 on the desk as a down payment to lobbyists to represent their greed when the poor need top people to represent their need.

Ambassador Hope, Pastor Edmunds and Ian McLean with the signed funding documents from the private sector for 5 of Prosperity Studios Programs.

Senator Lugar could have easily taken me across to President Bush and got the Executive order signed at the same time as the public sector bill.

Barry C Black, Chaplain for the US Senate, his assistant and I prayed on the Executive Order in Senator Lugar's office and then his staffer said there was no room in the car!

So when God closes a car door..he opens a window!
