The architecture and interior design by Ms. Friedman are simply breathtaking in every aspect, from the 600 thread count Cameroonian cotton sheets to the décor, ambiance, and setting.
Sitting on the patio and looking out over the beautiful pool and the bush, It's quiet and very peaceful.
Ms. Friedman well known in New York for her interiors, has also designed film and TV sets for Sex in the City and Law and Order.
The buildings have been designed by a Johannesburg based architect and are being built using only local trades people and the interior elements sourced by Ms, Friedman from all over Southern Africa and hand made furnishings and textiles from as far a field as Kenya.
Laurie Friedman offers a total interior design service from her studio in Tribeca, New York. She provides a range of services including project management, single room solutions and an entire home makeover. Using skilled crafts & tradesmen, Laurie also provides people who didn’t think they could afford to hire an interior designer with fast, simple, affordable interior makeovers.
This project is another in a series of prestigious international interior design projects.completed over the last three years. Ms. Friedman usually works in New York, Los Angeles and Miami.
