www.DiscGolfBuzz.com held their first ever live Olympic Disc Golf petition signing Saturday at the Mesquite Open doubles Disc Golf tournament. According to site owner Dan Sias it was a huge success. He said ” we felt like we were welcomed with open arms”. He also added ” Josh Dann of www.Titledisc.com as well as all of the people that turned out supported us 100%”. They yeilded a modest amount of signatures, but their hope is it will only get bigger and better as the word spreads and they get money raised to head to bigger Disc Golf venues. Mr. Sias is awaiting official word about how many signatures will be required for the sports consideration. Until then their plan is to hit tournaments and courses around their area for signatures and spread the word about their online petitions too.
