Haunt enthusiasts planning to visit Georgia's Camp Blood and Mabel's Bled & Breakfast have only for chances left this haunting season. The 2008 remaining dates for Camp Blood and Mabel's Bled & Breakfast are October 29th, 30th, 31st and November 1st. The frights begin at 9pm. We close weeknights at 11pm and weekends at midnight.
"This year was slower than normal during the gas crunch," says Camp Blood Administrator Mark Atcheson, "but since gas has become available, our numbers have been improving with each night. These last few days are always the most fun since our actors will be pulling out all the stops to give visitors a truly frightening experience."
Visitors (even those who use the popular Fast Pass) are encouraged to enjoy their stay in the waiting area. This staging area features a Big-Screen Movie, a Fortune Teller, several monsters, a complete snack bar and souvenir shop.
Unlike standard walk and stumble attractions, Camp Blood’s guides take groups of visitors through a ‘quarter mile of sheer terror’. Visitors find themselves walking, stopping, screaming, jumping, running, and cowering as they attempt to keep up with the sneaky guides and dodge the monsters.
