My Fertility Plan Launches the 1st Annual International Infertility Haiku Contest

My Fertility Plan, an infertility consulting firm, announces the launch of the 1st Annual International Infertility Haiku Contest on October 27, 2008.

“We understand infertility is a stressful and emotionally difficult situation.  Identifying and expressing our emotions is just one of the ways we can cope.    To encourage reflection, celebrate strength and tenacity, and maybe even laugh, My Fertility Plan has created the competition open to anyone who has faced family-building challenges,”
adds Angie Best-Boss, President of My Fertility Plan, LLC.

The contest is free and you can enter as many times as you wish.  There will be four prizes awarded in both categories – Light-hearted and Serious.  Entries must follow basic haiku guidelines –a three line poem, made up of only 17 syllables.  

Sponsors who provide infertility-related services have generously donated cash prizes, gift certificates, and autographed books.  “Our gracious sponsors understand the difficulties associated with infertility and were thrilled to find another way to offer encouragement and support,” adds Evelina Weidman Sterling, PhD.
