Inkster, MI, Pastor Edward K. McCrary and Spreading Oak Church announce their annual Women’s Day Worship Services on Sunday, October 26, 2008 at 11:00am and 4:00pm with a fellowship dinner served at 2pm. The theme “Women Exalted for Such a Time as This” Esther 4:14 is touching the hearts of women across the Detroit area, as well as, across the nation as the economy faces much turmoil.
“Christian women must stand on the solid rock of Jesus Christ during such a time as this,” says Pastor Edward K. McCrary who celebrated his tenth year anniversary as Pastor of Spreading Oak Church this year. Spreading Oak Church is excited about the annual women’s day, which includes guest speaker, Evangelist Juanita Cross, of Peoples Community Baptist Church for the 11:00am service. Minister Marie Williams of New Hope Church of the Nazarene is the guest speaker for the 4:00pm service, along with the guest mistress of ceremony Pastor Felicia Guess of D’Vine Order Ministries. The afternoon service will be toppled off with musical selections from the gospel group, Spirit Singers. A fellowship dinner will also be served at 2:00pm in the Spreading Oak Church’s fellowship hall.

Pastor McCrary is the pastor of Spreading Oak Church in Inkster, MI. He recently celebrated his ten year anniversary. SPREADING OAK CHURCH was founded in 1939 has been on Helen street for 60 years and will celebrate its 70th year anniversary in 2009.
