Teaching in or managing a Pre-School is not an easy task. And to help lighten the load for those involved in child development, PASEO TLJ EDUCATION SERVICES presents two seminars on November 8, 2008:
1. MANAGING A CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER. Take part in the discussion and activities on discovering ways and means on efficiently managing the resources and manpower of a Child Development Center. Speaker for this seminar is Dr. Evalyn Hizon, Professor in the Family Life and Child Development Department, College of Home Economics, University of the Philippines. Seminar time is from 8:30 am - 12:00 noon.
2. CREATING A CLIMATE CONDUCIVE TO LEARNING. Learn tested tips on how to set up the classroom and other components that make learning possible. Arm yourselves also with effective techniques on behavior management in the preschool. Speaker for this seminar is Teacher Jo Laurel, Directress of the Center for Childhood Education. Seminar time is from 1:30 pm - 5:00 pm.
Venue of the two seminars is the Auditorium, Social Development Complex (SDC) of the Ateneo de Manila University, Loyola Heights, Quezon City. Seminar fee is One Thousand Seven Hundred Pesos (P1,700.00) per participant for the 2 seminars (inclusive of snacks, lunch, materials and certificate)
