EntropySoft, the ECM interoperability leader, releases a new IBM WebSphere PDM connector

EntropySoft, specialist of the ECI (Enterprise Content Integration) market and unstructured data integration, announces the addition of an IBM WebSphere Portal Document Manager connector to its portfolio.  By making available yet another connector, EntropySoft is once more working towards simple, normalised access to all content repositories. This connector is therefore another step towards increased content interoperability.

EntropySoft’s IBM WebSphere PDM software connector enables read-only access to content stored in the IBM WebSphere PDM repository. IBM WebSphere PDM is based on a Java Content Repository (JCR) and stores content in a relational database management system (RDBMS).

Says Nicolas Maquaire, EntropySoft CEO, “Specially designed for versions 5.1 and 6.0 of IBM WebSphere PDM, our connector uses specific APIs to be able to access document permissions as well as navigate in the user-directory.
