Black Women 4 Change 2008 Women’s Conference Addresses “Men and Commitment”
Atlanta, GA – November 1, 2008 – Kennesaw resident hosts conference to help Black Women seek the answers to the very important question a lot of women ask, “Why Black Men Won’t Commit”?
In 2007, Michele Baylor and felt it was her ministry to help other women to heal inner wounds, bring unity in the community as well as resources and informative conferences such as the “Men and Commitment”. Like Mrs. Baylor, she was holding on too past hurts and by joining the women’s ministry and marriage ministry through her church, she had learned that for many women, their fear is that they would keep making the same mistakes which leads to a source of anxiety and that transfers into the relationship that stifles the communication.
Subsequently, Mrs. Baylor launched Black Women 4 Change conferences and workshops as a way of helping Black Women come together and learn from other women to encourage acceptance, healing, and forgiveness.
