Choe Khor Sum Ling (CKSL), Bangalore, is pleased to announce the release of the first issue of its newsletter – Alamkara (Ornament). The quarterly publication is intended to be “an added forum for communication on a wide variety of issues related to CKSL’s activities”, for informing about Dharma events elsewhere in India and to “nourish all with tidbits of Dharma”.
The first issue of the newsletter features the teaching given by Lama Zopa Rinpoche at the Center in March 2008. “The Buddhist culture” section highlights the biography of Arya Asanga, a great Indian Pandit from the Nalanda University. “Useful links” lists the web-sites of Dharma centers, magazines and monasteries.
