Follow on Google News | Choe Khor Sum Ling Center, Bangalore, releases it newsletter – AlamkaraCKSL releases its newsletter – Alamkara. The quarterly publication is primarily to inform the public about the current and future activities at the Center and Dharma events elsewhere in India.
By: Choe Khor Sum Ling Center The first issue of the newsletter features the teaching given by Lama Zopa Rinpoche at the Center in March 2008. “The Buddhist culture” section highlights the biography of Arya Asanga, a great Indian Pandit from the Nalanda University. “Useful links” lists the web-sites of Dharma centers, magazines and monasteries. Read on to find out more: the newsletter is uploaded to the Center’s web-site at http://www.cksl.in/ The newsletter was released by Ven. Khangser Rinpoche from Sera Jey monastery on September 28, 2008 during the teaching on “Healing through Loving Kindness”. # # # CKSL is a Tibetan Buddhist Meditation & Study center established in Bangalore by Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche at the behest of His Holiness the XIVth Dalai Lama in 2003. As such, CKSL is a part of an international network of Dharma Centers known as Foundation for Preservation of Mahayana tradition (FPMT), under the spiritual guidance of Lama Zopa Rinpoche. CKSL offers courses in various Buddhist meditation techniques and teachings on various aspects of the Graduated Path to Enlightenment.
