The unregulated foreign exchange market has become a tradeable product for "everyman" online to purchase and sell currencies through margin forex brokers – not unlike trading stocks. This has spawned a large number of forex rip-offs and scams by would-be traders and marketers without ethics promising dream incomes and guaranteeing forex success based on false hope and information that any real trader would not agree with.

Many active traders and would-be traders have had enough of the forex rip-offs online and decided that the days of allure are coming to an end. Here are the two reasons why the days of "get rich quick" forex scams are over:

1) Increasing regulation by CFTC on brokerage houses means that any broker failing to meet the liquid capital requirements set by US regulatory bodies have been forced to close. This means that the remaining brokers will be forced in to doing more to help their clients in order to avoid attrition in a more competitive marketplace.

2) Institutional traders who were providing private analysis and consultation services have selectively opened the door to their research and live trading signals allowing even individual investors to "test-drive" on a rolling monthly basis with no obligation. This now gives the retail trader an unparalleled opportunity to profit from forex.

Prior to the release of this article, this trade team, who are the same team responsible for the black box strategies used by quantitative traders in institutions and hedge funds around the globe, were specializing in providing their services to institutional clients and high end brokerage operations, not to retail clients.

However, as of 2008, the individual investor can benefit from learning from real professionals what really moves the forex market, how to generate reliable entry signals, how to pick up trader alerts and trade them to make money, how to manage money like a professional and how to model and copy the exact strategies, to the pip, that these traders put out on a daily basis to their clients.

The opportunity to trade forex like an institutional investor, as an individual has arrived and the scam artists need to be very afraid about this. Times are changing then in this exciting and unregulated market. When the real traders are putting their reputations on the line to help the individual investors, there truly is an opportunity available.
