Darryl Hemminger
Crosland, one of the Triangle’s leading real estate companies, has named Darryl Hemminger vice president of residential development in its Raleigh office. Hemminger will oversee site acquisition, financing and regulatory approvals for new construction projects. He will also retain and manage design professionals and supervise general contractor activities for a number of Crosland’s signature residential projects.
Before joining Crosland, Hemminger managed his own company in Florida, Hemminger Development, which designed and constructed high-end custom homes. He also worked for six years at ZOM, a highly respected multi-family development and management company. At ZOM, Hemminger focused his energies on a wide range of residential projects throughout Florida including garden style and high-rise rentals, hotel renovations, mixed-use developments and single-family homes.

Crosland employs 85 people in the Raleigh-Durham market and currently has more than 1,400 multi-family units in the development pipeline, 750,000 square feet of retail space and six single-family communities that include 3,000 residential lots purchased or under contract. Crosland currently manages nine apartment communities in the Triangle area including Dobbins Hill, The Apartments at Meadowmont, Wakefield Glen, The Apartments at Oberlin Court, Regency Place, Litchford Park, North Forest, Weston Lakeside and Southpoint Village.
