Dr. John Kapeleris is the deputy chief executive officer of the Australian Institute for Commercialization, an organization that provides innovation and collaboration services to help businesses grow. They work with entrepreneurs, research groups and governments to identify new commerce opportunities and convert them into successful outcomes. Dr. Kapeleris has been with AIC since 2004 and is responsible for assisting commercial entities in realizing their ideas and technological capabilities. He has been involved in the successful negotiation of numerous technology transfers, licensing and distribution deals and has more than sixteen years of experience in the biotechnology industry.
