Securing money for college in the form of scholarships, grants, and student loans has always been the main goal of many students in the United States, but in light of the current economic crisis, getting these funds is a bigger challenge than ever. Many of the funds that are normally allocated for these purposes have diminished or disappeared altogether and students are beginning to feel the crunch. Due to this harsh reality, computer furniture manufacturer, Versa Tables, stepped up to the plate and started a new scholarship fund that is open to all students currently attending school in the United States.
“We do business with educational facilities across the country, from kindergarten to grad school and we found out there was a need for more available scholarship money, so we immediately took action”, said Chris Stormer, Chief Operations Officer at Versa Tables. “Students were having a difficult time finding money for school because the funds simply didn’t exist anymore or the scholarship qualifications were so narrow that many students were not even eligible to apply. We decided to make it as easy as possible…as long as you are a student currently attending school in the United States, you are eligible to apply and win money for school. It doesn’t matter what grade level you are or what type of school you attend, every student is welcomed.”
And Versa Tables even makes the application process simple. All students have to do is go online to http://www.versatables.com/
The Versa Tables Scholarship Fund is currently online and they are encouraging students to send in their applications now. This contest will run until January 15th, 2009 and then another scholarship contest will be launched in the Spring with a different theme.
