Thirteen year Weight-loss veteran and President of Bariatric Support Centers International, Colleen M. Cook will speak at The World Congress on Obesity in Washington, D.C. to educate participants about long-term bariatric support.
The World Congress on Obesity has been established to discuss the different issues surrounding obesity and outline solutions to combat the declining life expectancy statistic. The Congress is also co-located with the Positive Psychology Forum where attendees will learn core concepts from the positive psychology and strengths movement that can be used immediately to drive organizations and individuals towards a healthy lifestyle behavior change.
Cook, a successful weight-loss surgery patient from 1995, is the founder and president of Bariatric Support Centers International;
Cook will present one of her most requested topics, "Meeting the Long-Term Needs of the Bariatric Patient." She will be presenting on Thursday, November 20, at 11:30 PM. The event will be held at the Omni Shoeham Hotel in Washington, D.C.
