KIDS AGAINST HUNGER AND JILL JENUINE, LLC JOIN TOGETHER
TO RAISE FUNDS TO FIGHT WORLD HUNGER
Just in time for World Food Day, Kids Against Hunger, a non-profit humanitarian food aid organization, is offering a very special tote bag for sale in collaboration with Jill Jenuine, LLC. Made of 100% organic cotton and manufactured in the U.S.A., the Kids Against Hunger Organic Cotton Tote Bag is a high quality alternative to plastic bags used for groceries as well as for carrying everyday items. Jill Jenuine, LLC is donating 20% of the proceeds from the sale of the Kids Against Hunger Organic Cotton Tote Bag to Kids Against Hunger in an effort to support its mission to feed starving children around the world. The bags can be purchased online and are available at http://www.kidsagainsthunger.org, http://www.jilljenuine.com, and http://www.amazon.com. The sale of each bag will provide funds to feed thirteen children per day.
Jill Jenuine, LLC was founded with the idea of raising awareness for various causes by offering customized products, which are good for the environment and support the domestic economy, while donating funds to organizations focused on those causes. Kids Against Hunger uses volunteers to package meals with essential ingredients specially formulated to reverse the starvation process in children. Last year over 81,000 volunteers, in forty locations throughout the country, packaged over twenty-seven million meals that were distributed to food shelves in the U.S. and to thirty-seven countries around the world.
According to Kathy Stinchfield, Development Director for Kids Against Hunger, “This partnership with Jill Jenuine is an example of social entrepreneurship at its best. Jill Jenuine is providing Kids Against Hunger with a high quality product that consumers can feel good about purchasing. Not only are the bags environmentally friendly, they are manufactured in the U.S. using fair labor practices, supporting our economy. The sale of the bags will raise awareness about Kids Against Hunger and provide essential funding to produce our meals that are saving precious young lives every day around the world. We are very grateful to Jill Jenuine for their partnership.”
