Wyoming, MI; Alta Lift Truck Services, Inc. and Vans Industrial Equipment today announced that the companies have signed a definitive agreement under which Alta will acquire the assets of Vans Industrial Equipment. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
“Vans has a solid reputation based on years of high quality service and dedication to its customers,” said Robert Kohler, executive vice president of sales and marketing at Alta. “We are pleased to acquire a company with such high performance standards and dedicated employees.”
Vans Industrial Equipment, located in Wyoming, was established in 1931 and is a premier supplier and service provider for industrial equipment. Under the agreement, Alta will retain the majority of Vans employees and assets.

Under this acquisition, Vans’ customers can expect the same high caliber service they have always received, along with the stability of a company that will be around for a very long time,” said Art Kasik, chief operations officer with Alta.
