SPOKANE, WA — Olive Tree Bible Software, known for its BibleReader software across major mobile platforms, has released BibleReader for iPhone. BibleReader joins the ranks of Christian and Bible applications on iTunes—a category that has enjoyed an unanticipated popularity on the App Store since its launch. BibleReader was downloaded over 9,000 times in its first three days on the App Store, and over 40,000 downloads have been recorded to date.
Olive Tree products now available on the App Store include the popular New International Version (NIV) Bible along with other translations such as the English Standard Version (ESV), the New King James Version (NKJV), and the Amplified Bible. The ESV Study Bundle provides commentary and cross references for deeper study, accessible from within the program.

The new software development demonstrated in the iPhone release will form the foundation for BibleReader 4.0, available next year for major mobile platforms including Windows Mobile (Pocket PC), Symbian, and BlackBerry. Olive Tree has something to offer every mobile device user, and continues to develop their BibleReader software for new and emerging mobile platforms, including Android, the open-source platform developed by Google and scheduled to launch fall 2008.
