Jefferson Graveyard to haunt Yorkville!
Yorkville, Illinois, October 10, 2008 –Elaborate Disney quality computer-automated, life-sized outdoor Halloween show called The Jefferson Graveyard Show, first made famous 10 years ago in Naperville, Illinois. This show has been featured in the past on local news channels ABC, CBS, NBC, WGN, and CLTV.
This unique presentation features seven robotic ghouls that will tell and sing a 10 minute chilling Halloween story set in an eerie graveyard which includes animation, sound and lighting effects. Included this year in the house behind the graveyard -- a flying ghost and other ghoulish surprises!
The show is free (donations accepted) and will be located on the property of Robert Veach, 781 Greenfield Turn, Yorkville, Illinois, 60560, Tel: 630-553-8697. The 10 minute show will run repeatedly from dark through 10:00 PM nightly starting Friday October 17th and running through Halloween, Friday, October 31st.
The show is the brain-child of Robert and Steve Veach, brothers who created the concept and developed the electronics, elaborate, life-sized characters, and lighting, music and computer programs for the show. The 10 minute show has drawn thousands of people in the past years and had a loyal following in Naperville. This is the first year the show will be run in Yorkville, Illinois, about a 50 mile drive SW from downtown Chicago.
