PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 14, 2008 - Bradley said, "I thought I would take a friend up on his offer to loan me his electric assisted bicycle.  From the start it was a blast!  Venturing out, I found myself in a popular area where bike riders range from your average bicycle rider to the ones some refer to as the ‘Lance Armstrong want to be’s’.  I set out on my journey going an average of 18-20 mph with little or no peddling.  With a little more effort I could reach speeds close to 30 mph."

Showing a sense of humor along with his entrepreneurial nature, Bradley continued, "What got my wheels turning to get into business (pun intended), was when I caught up with, and then started passing some fairly serious and seasoned road bikers, several with obviously expensive hi-tech bikes.  As I made my way around them and started passing, a few of them did not like the idea of an overweight guy like me on a comfort bike, passing their group.  The Sprint was on!”

He smilingly said, “When the traffic light was in view, it was a welcome sight for me. I finished about fifth or sixth, and the others caught up moments later. I was huffing and puffing but then, so were they.”

Being not only accepted but finding these seasoned riders were intrigued, he concluded, "The exciting thing is a couple of them were very interested in the bike I was riding and starting asking questions like how much do they cost, and who sells them.  One of the guys said it would be perfect if he could buy one for his wife, as she always wanted to join in his rides, but couldn’t keep up.  The fact that no snide remarks were made was a positive indication to me that these bikes may be well received by the public.  And I have found that was an understatement!  People are hungry for an alternative solution to high transportation costs, and reducing their Carbon Footprint on the world.  The Electric bikes address both issues."
