Rock'n Music Idol 2007-2008 Winners
The deadline to enter Rock’n Music Idol 2008-2009 has been extended from October 17th, 2008 to February 20th, 2009 due to the overwhelming response this season. Rock’n Music Idol is a state-wide search for New Jersey’s most impressive musicians ages 7-17 in the categories of guitar, bass, drums, keys/piano, vocals, and vocals/instrument. The competition follows an audition process during which contestants are judged by a panel of professional musicians based on style, technique, and originality. The winners of Rock’n Music Idol receive professional recording studio time to write and record an original song, the opportunity to perform at the prestigious Stone Pony, and a professional photo shoot with legendary photographer Mark Weiss. Mark has worked with countless prolific musicians including Bon Jovi, Christina Aguilera, Twisted Sister, and Avenged Sevenfold.
