Botox Or Bust? Not Anymore. Dentists Banned From Injectables Turn To Non-invasive Facial Fitness.

Many state dental boards strictly regulate dentists’ use of injectables like BOTOX®, Restylane® and Juvéderm,™ and sometimes, it’s prohibited altogether.  But now, with a new treatment called Facial Fitness, dentists are offering the same, results-driven dental spa treatments as injectables – only without violating dental practice or insurance statutes.

Here’s the argument:  Should a DMD or DDS be able to offer injectables like BOTOX®, Restylane® and Juvéderm,™?   And if so, should care be exclusively for therapeutic applications like TMD, migraines and pain management – or should it also include aesthetic anti-aging treatments?  Proponents argue that as licensed medical professionals, dentists have an intimate knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, and thus should be able to offer the same simple services that nurses in dayspas can.  They also contend that a smile isn’t limited to healthy teeth and gums – it includes the whole face.  But dental practice statutes and professional liability coverage providers disagree.  So what’s the solution?

Dentists wanting to offer the therapeutic and cosmetic applications of injectables now have Facial Fitness – and since it’s 100% non-invasive - state dental boards don’t regulate its use.  Facial Fitness is performed with the Dental M6, the newest addition to LPG’s line of therapeutic medical devices cleared to improve local blood circulation, relieve aches and pains, and relax muscle tensions (like TMJ).  But that’s not all.  Facial Fitness also stimulates fibroblasts (the cells responsible for collagen and elastin production) to combat fine lines, wrinkles, slackening facial contours and aging skin.  Dentists have found that it’s a great way to make some extra cash (about $85-$95 per session, with packages of 10-12 sessions recommended) while complementing their quality of care.

LPG Technology is marketed and distributed by Techno-Derm, LLC, (DBA: LPG America), 10800 Biscayne Blvd., Ste. 850 in Miami, Florida.  For more on Facial Fitness treatments and LPG’s FDA-cleared medical devices, visit Facialm6.com.   To schedule an interview with a dentist using Facial Fitness or a Company representative, please contact Rebecca Hausen at 305-335-8696 or by email at revcom.group@gmail.com.
