Knoxville, Tenn. – The better the plan, the more successful the project. That’s the idea behind Greenleaf 3D, a new company launched by two local business people to help architects and engineers in the Southeast work more efficiently and effectively.
Susan Hance Sykes and David A. Kimball, former leaders with the Knoxville-based technology services provider ModernTech, have partnered to create Greenleaf 3D, an authorized value-added reseller (VAR) of Autodesk software. The company specializes in identifying the ways Autodesk can improve the capabilities of a particular business and allow it to win more projects and increase profitability. “We offer real-world experiences along with Autodesk software, training and support,” says Kimball, Vice President of Sales. “Our customers view us as a trusted advisor when it comes to technology that is critical to their business.”
Kimball and Sykes have more than 20 years combined experience reselling design software and hardware plus professional training and other consulting services. During their careers at ModernTech, the two were credited with winning multi-million dollar design software and services contracts with ENR Top 500 companies, as well as state transportation departments throughout the Southeast.
The company's main office is located in the Water’s Edge office complex at 608 Mabry Hood Road. The company is currently hiring and plans to expand its Knoxville-based staffing with approximately 10 more positions over the next 12 months. Greenleaf 3D will focus its business development efforts in Tennessee, Northern Alabama, Georgia, and North Carolina, and is authorized in the civil, architecture and government markets. Autodesk (ADSK) is one of the largest providers of design innovation technology in the world with revenues in excess of $2 billion.
