The fireworks spectacular will complement the Sabah International Expo (SIE 2008) held in the hypermall. With the influx of delegates from the 22 countries participating in SIE2008, 1Borneo is not just a destination for lifestyle pleasures and entertainment but also the best platform for foreign investments opportunity in Sabah while being put under the microscope at is hosts its first international standard event and simultaneously galvanise Sabah’s global status.
An estimated 40,000 trade visitors will visit the hypermall during the expo and experience the vast facilities and services the venue has to offer. SIE2008 will be formally launched by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak in the morning. He will later attend a welcoming state dinner at the newly opened, 1Borneo Ballroom.
