Rakesh’s idea of a personalized learning device revolves around a pair of wearable glasses. Unlike laptops or handhelds, these are totally hands free!!! The device streams various learning content through wireless ports attached to it. The glasses give the student a view of a 30-inch screen viewed from a distance of 6 to 7 feet. Rakesh conceives of "Learning Huts" at various points on campus or in the city where a student can walk in with these glasses and stream lessons and information that he/she wishes to view. The glasses are charged by a thin solar panel or film that the student can wear on his/her person during the daytime. The device thus intends to give a convenient experience of personalized learning.
