Thousands of people aged between 25 and 60 are no longer attending church. When asked most of them say they still believe in God and Jesus Christ. They have lots of different reasons for giving up church. During the large evangelist missions throughout the 1960 - 1980's of evangelists such as Billy Graham and Luis Palau many thousands of people became Christians. Many of them have continued to play an important role in the life of local and national churches throughout the world.
Unfortunately Christians face the same problems as everyone else. Too much to do and too little time to do it. Some will have needed time to establish their careers. Others time for building a good, strong and stable family. Others will have responsibilities from family, work or church thrust on them. All of these this can combine to create the situation where it become difficult to find the time to attend church and eventually it is easier not to try.
As more and more research is done with group of people one this starts to stand out. They have not stopped believing.
