EMG #3 Fastest Growing Private Co. in OC

Oct. 9, 2008 - PRLog -- IRVINE, CA – Earthbound Media Group (EMG) is pleased to kick-off its fall season with more high profile recognition for its rapid growth. Commended for its impressive growth by both local and nationally-syndicated publications including OC Metro Business and Inc. Magazine already this year, EMG was recently named the 3rd fastest growing private company in the Orange County area by the Orange County Business Journal (OCBJ).

In an awards ceremony held Thursday, October 2nd at the Hyatt Regency Irvine, the OCBJ unveiled its highly anticipated second annual list, ranking privately held, Orange County-based companies by percentage revenue growth from June 30, 2006, through June 30, 2008. With its 525% increase in revenue and sales reaching $2.5 million over the past two years, EMG rounded up the top three, trailing behind medical service provider American Correctional Solutions and Newport Beach-based video game store franchisor Play N Trade.

Distinguishably ranked among the companies honored at the cocktail event, EMG was honored alongside technology consultant firms, software companies and even Irvine-based consumer electronics manufacturer Vizio.

The OCBJ’s annual list has featured renowned brands including Vestal, LRG (Lifted Research Group), Wahoo’s Fish Tacos, Yakety Yak Wireless, Pacific Life Insurance and Yard House Restaurants. The 2008 list of the OC’s 100 fastest growing private companies is set to appear in this week’s edition.
