The nonfiction portion of the line will focus on books and booklets of practical advice for writers. Crickhollow Books will also publish select books on nature and outdoors adventure, history, cultural heritage, and spirituality topics, and instructional how-to books that serve personal and professional needs.
In fiction, Crickhollow will publish a range of literary, commercial, and genre fiction for all ages, with a central focus on good storytelling.
It will also offer Crickhollow Books for Young Readers, focusing on chapter books, mostly with a strong element of cultural heritage.
The goal is publish lasting titles for young and adult readers – attractive, effective books with marketplace success and impact on our communities.
Crickhollow Books is an imprint of Great Lakes Literary, directed by Philip Martin. Martin is an experienced editor who has published a wide range of award-winning nonfiction and fiction titles for adults and young readers.
