Stamford, CT – Republican Christopher Shays and Democrat Jim Himes, candidates running for the 4th Congressional District seat, will debate foreign policy issues on Monday, October 20, 7:00-8:30 PM at the Holiday Inn, Stamford under the auspices of the World Affairs Forum.
“Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, Russia, North Korea and China are just a few of the countries that present critical foreign policy issues for the United States. The Forum’s debate offers a unique opportunity to hear the candidates discuss such issues,” said Kay Maxwell, Executive Director of the World Affairs Forum.

The debate is free and open to all. Free parking is available in the Holiday Inn garage. The Holiday Inn is located at 700 Main Street (which is a continuation of Tresser Blvd.), between Elm and Broad Streets.
