Pb Elemental Architecture Named 2008 Design Achievement Award Winner

Seattle-based modern design firm Pb Elemental Architecture (www.elementalarchitecture.com) was honored recently with the 2008 Design Achievement Award by Seattle Homes & Lifestyles magazine and Seattle Design Center.  The award, now in its sixth year, was presented at Seattle Design Center's 2008 Northwest Design Awards Gala on September 25.  The evening gala celebrated the innovative work of leading Northwest design professionals and honored four local designers for outstanding work in their industry.

“We feel privileged to be named as a winner of this year's Design Achievement Award in the architecture category,” said Chris Pardo, Partner and Co-Founder of Pb Elemental Architecture.  “We are passionate about the projects we design so it's thrilling to see our work embraced by industry peers and leaders.”

The selection panel for this year's award included Charles Anderson, a 2007 DAA honoree landscape architect, retailer Brian Balmert of Ornamo, interior designer Nancy Burfiend, Metropolitan Home's Seattle City Editor and Seattle Homes & Lifestyles Market Adviser Linda Humphrey and architect Rick Mohler of Adams Mohler Ghillino.
