Media-alternatives Seeks Test-sites For Apartment Advertising & Marketing Concept

New marketing service for use on-site by apartment property owners & managers being offered at no charge for limited time

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct 08, 2008 -
Media-Alternatives of San Antonio, Texas is campaigning to test-drive their new on-site advertising service in the multi-family housing industry. For a limited time, interested properties can receive this service at no-charge for 60 days.  While a similar concept exists for home-selling applications, Business Ad Radio is a turn-key, user friendly service designed to assist leasing agents, apartment managers and their support staffs to maintain and increase occupancy levels while decreasing turnover times according to Mark Tilford, Managing Partner.

Simply put, on-site marketing features a repeating, short-range broadcast that originates directly from the apartment complex itself, containing property highlights with other information useful to potential residents.

Whether driving the grounds of an open-access apartment community, parked in front of the leasing office, or stopped outside the security gates, "residents-to-be" are presented with professionally recorded audio programs that include colorful floor plan descriptions, amenities, availability, business office hours, cross-marketing to nearby same-owner communities, along with upcoming resident and sponsor partnered events.

Using “Micro Transmitters” that are individually tuned to broadcast over any locally open FM channel, listeners receive a crystal-clear FM signal while in their cars. Mark Tilford, managing partner at Media-Alternatives noted that “on-site audio advertising is a powerful marketing tool for owners & apartment management companies - and is a wonderful aural experience for those actively shopping for an apartment home.”  Mr. Tilford also added that their “micro transmitters require no FCC license and fully comply with all FCC regulations”.

For Media-Alternatives’ clients, the company assembles a mix of creative copy writing based on information they receive or research about each multi-family dwelling using male or female professional voice-over artists, and high quality fully-licensed music.

Statistics have shown that eighty-percent of homebuyers hunt for homes by driving around looking at neighborhoods. The same seems to hold true for apartment hunters. 40-60% of U.S. rental apartments receive new residents each year. With much of an apartment development’s operating expenses resulting from residents moving in & out, Tilford added that on-site marketing can lower advertising costs by eliminating excessive signage, decrease vacancy turnover times during the less active October-May moving months, all while enhancing their apartment community’s curb appeal.

The company website portal is www.media-alternatives.com and is complete with apartment industry audio demos which are found at www.media-alternatives.com/snippetsAP.html.  “This concept joins the family of Hang Time Media and on-site advertising companies, and will change the way people think of on-site marketing”, says Tilford.  “For apartment owners, property management groups, and on-site support staff – this could mean the difference between “For Rent”, and “No Vacancy”.
