Oct 08, 2008 – WAYNE, New Jersey – New York, NY-based Metrovision Production Group has added an assortment of Fujinon HD lenses to the company’s HD lens inventory for use on a variety of mobile productions and on its new HD production truck, Metrovision HD-1. The lenses include: an XA101x8.9ESM super telephoto field lens, two XA88x8.8ESM telephoto lenses, one HA42x9.7ERD premier series stabilized telephoto ENG style lens, one HA22X7.8ERM premier series HD ENG style telephoto lens and one HA13x4.5ERM ENG-style super wide angle lens with 2x extender and Digi-Power servo.
Established in 1988, Metrovision provides broadcast and remote production equipment and services for the video broadcast community, personnel and uplink services.

s latest purchase continues a long-standing relationship with Fujinon. “Metrovision has witnessed major changes in the broadcast and video industry throughout our history, but all along, Fujinon has been the first word when it comes to lenses,” said Patrick Augustin, Metrovision’s Production and Technical Manager. “Our clients depend on their reputation for quality and flexibility, and so have we. We specifically chose the 101 and the 88 for use in our 40-foot HD truck, Metrovision HD-1. We consider them one of the major selling points of our remote services.”
Metrovision production services span a variety of events, including sporting events and entertainment such as the Breeder’s Cup and Major League Baseball. A production team recently shot a performance at the Hard Rock Café concert venue in Hollywood, Florida that featured musical group “Bad Company.”
