A longstanding leading Dutch manufacturer of condensing combination boilers has chosen Bromsgrove to launch its first UK office.
Intergas, which has been established for over 40 years from a head office based in Coevorden, has just moved into West Court on Buntsford Park Road.
The company, which has developed a new energy efficient domestic gas condensing boiler which dispenses with many of the parts in a standard boiler, is currently creating new jobs from the Bromsgrove office.
But, after being assisted in the move by joint commercial property agents D&P Holt Ltd and Harris Lamb, it hopes to increase that further in the coming months.
Managing director Kevin Phipson said: “This is an ideal location for us and we are very pleased to have sealed the move here.
“Intergas Heating is looking to expand its operation in the coming months which should have both a short and long term positive effect on the local economy.
“The company has been streets ahead with its boiler systems for many years and has an extensive brand reputation in Holland, Germany, Belgium, Luxemburg, France and now the UK.
“Together, we have developed a new boiler that not only has some unique features, but has been focused on being more adaptable and easier for UK installers to fit.
“We will be selling predominantly into the trade market and we feel we have a great location here from which to distribute.”
Many parts in traditional boilers such as diverter valves and secondary heat exchangers are not used in the Intergas product. Instead it uses new technology to improve the efficiency and reduce running costs for the end-user.
One further unit of 2,750sq ft is available to let at West Court through D&P Holt ltd and Harris Lamb.

“To see an established European firm launching its UK base here shows the strength of Bromsgrove as well as the wider West Midlands.
“We are currently marketing another unit on the complex and are confident of attracting other businesses new to the area.”
