Explore More Opens Auckland Airport Depot With Cheap As Chips Car Hire Special

To celebrate the opening of Explore More's new Auckland Airport depot, the low-cost vehicle rental company is offering a 'Cheap as Chips' car hire special from Auckland to Christchurch to kick off the peak summer travel season.  

Customers can hire a Palmy (2000-2004 Toyota Vitz or similar) or Welly (1999-2002 Mazda Familia or similar) from Auckland to Christchurch for only $15 per day, for travel until 15 December.  

The new Auckland depot (http://www.exploremore.co.nz/auckland-christchurch-hire.aspx ) is located at 95 Montgomerie Road, Manukau, in close proximity to both Auckland Domestic and International Airports. Opening hours will be from 8:00AM – 4:30PM daily, with free transfers operating from the airport for all Explore More customers.

EX Group General Manager Sue Sullivan says the company is very excited about opening its doors in such an ideal location, "The Auckland Airport depot will allow international and domestic travellers the convenience of getting off their flight, and into an Explore More vehicle to begin their holiday."

"With four depots now in operation, our customers can spend less time making travel arrangements and more time exploring New Zealand," says Sullivan.

The Auckland City depot is the fourth to open since Explore More's launch in July 2007, marking the company's swift success in a tightly-packed vehicle rental market. The new depot complements Explore More's existing Auckland City, Christchurch City and Christchurch airport locations, offering customers a growing selection of pick-up and drop-off points.

Explore More's exponential success can be attributed to the company's winning formula of excellent value for money, great service, wide vehicle selection and availability. In the face of economic downturn, the company is bucking the trend, with 800 vehicles due on the road by December, more than doubling the 400 vehicles currently in service.
