Awarded Annually Since 2003
The European Seal of e-Excelence has been awarded annually since 2003 by the European Multimedia Forum (EMF) and its Partner Associations at an Award Ceremony at CeBIT, the European trade show for the ICT industry. A jury composed of representatives of the Partner Associations selects the winners on the basis of an open application process.
At the occasion of the launch, Dr. Margaretha Mazura, Secretary General of the EMF, declared:
“We are particularly proud to launch the European Seal of e-Excellence this year. After seven years of operation, we have entirely revamped the Award this year, providing even more visibility to our winners through a new website, new sponsors, and new services. The Seal is increasingly becoming a major focal point for Europe’s most successful digital media companies. To those who have not yet applied and won a European Seal of e-Excellence, I can only say: Join the club!”
