The 10th Annual Stacey Toran Foundation Dinner Reception will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday November 20, 2008, at the Riverwalk Banquet Center (6729 Westfield Blvd.) in Indianapolis. Featured speakers will include NFL Hall of Fame inductee, Michael Haynes and former Notre Dame and Indianapolis Colts standout, Devon McDonald.
The event will begin with a cocktail reception and silent auction at 6 p.m. with dinner being served at 7 p.m. Tickets are $75 per person or $550 for a table of eight and are available by calling Steve Badger at (317) 684-5216.
The Stacey Toran Foundation was created in 1998 to honor the memory and legacy of Toran, a former football standout at Broad Ripple High School in Indianapolis, the University of Notre Dame in South Bend and the Los Angeles Raiders. A four-year starter at cornerback for Notre Dame from 1980-1983, Toran played for the Los Angeles Raiders from 1984-1988. He was killed in an automobile accident in August 1989.
