Rodent-Proof Animal Feed Container
DALE, IN (August 08, 2008) – Universal Package Systems offers a plastic, rodent-proof, hopper style feed container, as well as a selection of pallet size top-dipping feed containers. Both alternatives are made from molded plastic, have been sealed inside with high density polyethylene, and include lids to make them rodent proof, as well as water/moisture resistant.
The hopper style container is filled from the top, with feed being accurately discharged from the bottom of a container. An adjustable sliding gate is used to open and close the discharge chute, and gravity forces the feed out in easily measured quantities. The inside of the container is angled at 45º, assuring all feed is dispensed, eliminating waste.
The container can be mounted on custom built stands, or is available with a stock metal stand. Weight capacity is up to 2000 lbs, with footprint sizes up to 45” x 48”, and heights up to 50”.
Also available are rodent-proof, plastic bulk containers that open from the top. Available in a variety of sizes up to a 45” x 48” footprint and various heights, each is sealed on the inside with high density polyethylene, and come with an easily removed plastic lid.
Both alternatives are collapsible if they need to be transported, and include a pallet style base with 4-way entry so they can be easily moved, even when full, with a fork lift or pallet jack.
