Diana of R&B and Danielle Walters of Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House
Fontana, CA R&B Auto Center has completed their annual charity fundraising for 2008 to benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Loma Linda. Their team the “Red Hot Runners” raised $5445.00, which is $445.00 over the team goal for 2008. The money raised is used to provide a home for families of critically ill and injured children to stay while receiving treatment at Loma Linda Children’s Hospital and near by medical facilities. The team consists of R & B Auto Center employees and their families and friends.
“You never know when a crisis will affect your family, they need to know that someone cares” said Diana Roughton, Office Manager of R&B Auto. R&B’s Red Hot Runners will begin fund raising this October for the 2009 Relay for Kids event held at Sylvan Park in Redlands. The first event will be a car wash at R & B Auto Center in late October. The cost will be $5.00; R&B employees will donate their time to wash cars for this great cause. They will also be selling smoothies, lemonade and ice cold cappuccinos.
