About the Author:
Khalid Mahmud, MD, FACP, is board certified in Oncology, Hematology, Internal Medicine and Anti-Aging Medicine. His past experience includes Chief of Medicine and Medical Director of Oncology at a major hospital. He pioneered Home Telemedicine and founded American TeleCare, which is helping many thousands of patients in their homes while reducing emergency room visits and hospitalizations. Dr. Mahmud has published many medical and health related articles and is planning his next book on how to fix our healthcare system. He lives and practices in Minneapolis.
