BMCS IT Recruitment, a family-owned business based in Cardiff, has changed its name to Computer Recruiter, and will continue to operate in much the same way as it always worked.
The company was founded in the 1980s when Bernard Morgan, an experienced IT professional, and his wife Marilyn, whose background was in personnel, realised that the sector was about to undergo huge growth and was under-serviced in South Wales.
Mr Morgan said: “We realise that the whole nature of recruitment has been affected by IT development and that we need to have a good profile on internet search engines. As well as opting for a new name, we went for a fresh look, too.”
Mrs Morgan added: “The business is still owned and managed by the Morgan family, with family values, and we have made sure that the service levels and friendly approach that we are known for remain unchanged.”
Computer Recruiter retains tens of thousands of job seekers on its database and matches them to a business’ individual requirements. It finds permanent and contract IT staff experience of all kinds of systems and software for roles such as IT managers, Project managers and leaders, technical architects, systems analysts and designers, software engineers, programmers, web developers, technical support, and training officers.
Its clients include software houses, manufacturing plants, media companies and financial institutions.
To mark the rebrand, Computer Recruiter is offering a no-obligation test. Mr Morgan said: “Let us know the vacancies you have or expect in the future and we will come back to you with suitable IT staff. You only pay if you accept a person and they start work.”
