The equipment is to produce their first three projects and stock up their studio for other production clients that want to shoot in Georgia. And yes, their clients get that tax credit as well under SWSI’s belt.
Many script writers and actors also can benefit from working with SWSI in Georgia, “right to work state.” When the old Hollywood was stuck in the “Writer’s Strike”, Georgia was still flowing with scripts from scripts writers. Actors also benefited from Georgia because they weren’t tide don’t to Unions. SWSI could have hired anyone and pay union rates with out the stipulations of union contracts. Travis is even in the process of writing his 1st book on script writing called, Beyond the Pages, which helps upcoming writers to create scripts in Georgia and abroad.
Once fully up and running, SWSI will be creating a great place for upcoming writers, actors, and film makers to begin. Also, creating work for thousands of Georgia employees and for the US Economy during this time of recession.
