Survey Results Confirm Employee Loyalty is Strong at The Lane Construction Corporation

Sept. 28, 2008 - PRLog -- A survey of employees at The Lane Construction Corporation confirms that there is a strong bond of loyalty between the employees and the company.  Approximately 74% of survey participants said that they were totally loyal to the company and would not consider offers from other companies.  Another 23% of survey participants said that they were loyal, but would consider offers from other companies for better jobs and higher compensation.

In further results from the survey, approximately 95% of participants said that their personal values were totally in sync with Lane's stated corporate values.  The same percentage indicated that their personal career goals were completely in sync with Lane's corporate mission.

“The loyalty of our employees has been one of the primary keys to the success of our company for decades,” said David F. Benton, Vice President of Engineering and Chief Engineer for Lane.  “Because our employees have accumulated such a wealth of experience on various projects, using our methods of construction, we are simply able to complete projects on time and on budget that other companies find difficult,” he said.

Mr. Benton served as project sponsor for the survey within Lane.  “This survey allows us to confirm for ourselves just how strong the concept of loyalty is within the company.  We now can take steps to preserve, and frankly leverage better, a valuable strategic corporate asset,” said Mr. Benton.

The survey was conducted on line through a website developed and managed by McGee Partners, an independent consulting firm.  Survey participants were assured of the confidentiality of their survey submissions.  “We were somewhat shocked at the strength of loyalty within Lane,” said William M. McGee, Managing Partner, who directed the survey.  “In today's world, it is very surprising to find a company that has the level of employee loyalty demonstrated in the Lane survey,” he said.
