MacroPATH D is a comprehensive digital capture, annotation and storage system that replaces tedious analog technologies with a quicker and more flexible work solution. An 8 megapixel camera, freehand and preprogrammed onscreen notations, automatic sizing, attached voice notes and video clips allow the Pathologist Assistant or grossing professional to document routine and special cases.
Technicians can use the touch screen interface, sealed keyboard or barcode reader to start a session/case. All assets (.jpg, .mp3, .avi) are collected into one case folder for easy access. Case folders can be stored locally or over a network and LIS system allowing local or remote users to access files for view and comment.
Offering operator flexibility, standardization tools, and collaborative options to the Pathologist Assistant and grossing technician allows for more accurate reporting and quicker turnaround time for the patient.
