Active RFID Jewellery Tag for Inventory & Security
Orizin Technologies, a leading RFID solutions provider, launches a unique RFID tag for jewellery industry.
This much-awaited product promises to solve the inventory as well as security issues that have pregnanted jewellery industry as well as other end retail segments like watches and other luxury goods for years. The unique features of this tag are:
1) Real-time Inventory: Unlike other RFID technology, this tag does not require a store keeper to physically go near a product to take inventory. With an inventory sensor placed on the roof of the store, a store manager can take the entire inventory of store at any time in few seconds on a click.
2) Security: The tag provides three level of security. First, it is tamper-proof. It can trip an alarm if the tag is disassociated from the jeweler by any means. Second, it prevents theft by tripping a hidden gate alarm in case an item is taken out of store in unauthorized way. Third, in case any item is missing with in store, it alerts to the store administrator immediately.
This patent-pending product is designed on the principle of active technology and runs on a tiny battery which needs to be replaced in six to eight months depending upon usage.
