SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Television history was made this past weekend as B Channel went on the air for the first time. B Channel is the world's first and only B movie network, showcasing cult classics and forgotten favorites to a worldwide audience with no commercial interruptions or edits.
At 12:01 am EST this past Saturday, B Channel presented its first broadcast: the controversial cult classic "Reefer Madness," a 1936 exploitation film about the supposed dangers of marijuana. Other films now playing on B Channel include:
Night of the Living Dead: When unexpected radiation raises the dead, a microcosm of average America has to battle flesh-eating zombies in George A. Romero's landmark horror film.
I Bury The Living: A cemetery keeper thinks he can mark people for death.
Space Mutiny: A brave crewmember takes charge when a mutinous revolt threatens his spacecraft.
The Screaming Skull: A new bride is nearly driven mad by images of a spectral skull.
Plan 9 From Outer Space: In arguably the worst film of all time, aliens bring the dead to life to conquer the Earth.
