The Nu-Era Group
The Nu-Era Group, a global supplier of retail fixtures and displays, has named Stan Heidmann chief financial officer and promoted Tom Wetzel to director of operations. Wetzel, who previously served as controller, has been with the St. Louis-based retail fixture provider for 15 years and will now oversee IT, logistic and personnel operations, as well as inventory analysis and operational maintenance of Nu-Era’s 180,000-square-
In his new role, Heidmann will oversee all accounting and financial operations and work to streamline The Nu-Era Group’s operational efficiencies both domestically and overseas. Heidmann, who brings more than 10 years accounting and finance experience, most recently served as CFO of Edge Flooring in Dalton, Ga.
“We’re thrilled to have Stan on board and move some of the weight off Tom’s shoulders,” said President Andrew Sharon. “Stan’s background made him a great fit and Tom’s experience with the company only made sense to move him up to his new role.”
Heidmann comes to The Nu-Era Group from Atlanta where he lived with his wife and three children. He holds an MBA from Webster University in St. Louis and a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
