In his book, Mr. Kobachi, a resident of Himeji, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, writes about his travel experiences in Hawaii and New York City, as well as London, England, and a fictional island, Earth. During his three and a half years traveling around Hawaii, Mr. Kobachi attended a writing workshop at Intercultural Communications College (ICC) during which he decided to write his travel memoirs and seek to share them with Americans.
