Darren Meade, the Managing Director of Kairos-Meade, has a life, which exhibits the
quintessential triumphant story. He was abandoned by his parents and homeless at the age of 14, weighing less than 100 pounds and today negotiates multi-million dollar agreements.
Meade said "I've learned a number of lessons about Spiritual Growth in the face
of adversity. For instance, although crisis distorts reality by reinforcing your fears, it also puts an emphasis on what matters right now; it highlights what’s important to you and what you’re capable of. Another major lesson is that loss amplifies the value of what remains, pushing you to take stock of what you have and to celebrate your life/assets."
Meade, a Mr. North America champion, and Managing Director of Kairos-Meade, said:"
I want to be a part of this change that I envision in my own heart and be able to express my blessings, by helping others."
Darren Meade in April was given less than a 10% chance to live as his aorta ruptured in 3 places. He also nearly had his leg amputated from medical complications during his surgeries.
