Christina Martin and Melissa Cavatti hosted KPNT 105.7 The Point’s Backstage Lounge at Pointfest on Saturday, attended by more than 30,000 fans. Featured live on-air that day, Christina and Melissa co-hosted the private area backstage for Seether, Shinedown, Puddle of Mudd, Ludo, Apocolyptica, Bullet for My Valentine and all the other bands in the Pointfest line-up. Creator of the Backstage Artists Lounge concept, Christina Martin also filmed backstage all day for a rockumentary tv series that is in development. The show developed around the work Christina does with rock stars...she has worked with just about every current active touring rock band--Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, The Killers, Wolfmother, Sum 41, Papa Roach...to name a few. The purpose of the new show is to capture the most entertaining parts of this world on camera, in ways that do not exploit but rather explain rock music and musicians touring today.
