About Boujie Baby Couture
Designer Suzanne Kopulos is the baby bag-brainchild behind the ultra-chic Boujie Baby Couture. Inspired by the birth of her vivacious niece Basilia, the Chicago native launched her first line of limited edition couture diaper bags, the Chic Collection, in late 2005, debuting on Hudson Street in the trendy West Village of New York City. With less than a year under its belt, Boujie Baby Couture was featured in ABC and NBC fashion segments, AlphaMom TV, Celebrity Baby Blog, Chicago Social Magazine, Cool Mom Picks, Daily Candy Kids, as well as Punk Rock Confidential magazine.
A self-taught designer, Suzanne earned her degree in Marketing and International Business from the University of Kentucky, Lexington, followed by a Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University in Miami, Florida. Studying in her backyard of Miami Beach, Suzanne developed the creative ideas behind the brand. Upon returning to her hometown of Chicago, she opted to leave her legal pad in the drawer and follow her passion for fashion!
